The Australian Nougat Company started
producing confectionery in 1985. Our Macadamia Nougat
is a uniquely Australian product. It has been described
as a sophisticated 'Melt in your Mouth' French style
Nougat. It is hand made at our pollution free Sunshine
Coast premises with all natural ingredients. Macadamia
Nuts fresh from local plantations, natural bush honey,
Queensland sugar & eggs make it a real indigenous
delicacy. Our Company evolved from a Macadamia plantation,
so all flavours have Macadamia nuts as a base ingredient.

set in an authentic 1930's Queenslander. Lots
of easy parking, so just turn up and enjoy.
We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm plus
Saturday 9am to 1pm.

We have our full range of gift lines for sale
at low factory prices, and are open to bus tours
or groups. You also get to see our handmade production
first hand through our viewing windows.
All our MACADAMIA BLISS Nougats contain dry roasted
Macadamia nuts fresh from local Plantations. Ingredients
of the Macadamia Honey nougat base are : Macadamias,
natural cane sugar, glucose, honey, egg white,
vanilla, edible wafer paper and water added.

Our cooking process

Please come and view
our cooking process and the many stages needed
to make perfect nougat. The equivalent of 150
Egg Whites is beaten and added to each 70kg batch
of Nougat. A major ingredient of Macadamia Bliss
nougat is local cane sugar. Premium local Macadamia
nuts are also lavishly added as a base for all
other nougat flavours.
Once cut into appropriate bar size, the nougat
is cooled overnight as shown in the picture.

We are easy to find
and located off the main Noosa - Eumundi road
just 3 minutes from Eumundi. On the left going
to Noosa and on the right if coming from Noosa
just turn into Tallgum Ave and you will immediately
see our distinctive sign on the Noosa - Eumundi
road.
